An unexpected highlight of my recent US trip was the discovery and exploration of an abandoned farmhouse in north-west Wisconsin.

For once I remembered to take photos.

They couldn't get the DVD player connected to the TV, so they left.

The piano looks like it's had The Entertainer played on it once too often.

That Gerner Ted Armstrong book: Uh oh, they were members of the Worldwide Church of God (the church I went to with my family, before my parents decided Christianity and religion was a bunch of bunk).

The other side of the house looks like a smaller Craggy Island Parochial House.

Yes, you wouldn't want to break into the trailer. If you've seen Peter Greenaway's The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover you'd know what I'm talking about.
